Local Parks & Gardens

Birmingham City Council Parks

Mosely Queensbridge Road Depot, Birmingham Area, Birmingham B13 8QB, UK – 0121 303 1111

The Parks Department at King's Heath Park provided the flowers, including floral displays, beautiful bouquets , and button holes for our daughters wedding and the service was absolutely wonderful. The flowers were breath taking and exactly what our daughter had wanted. Such friendly, knowledgeable and all round excellent service was refreshing and welcome.

King's Heath Park

Vicarage Rd, Birmingham B14 7TQ, UK – 0121 444 2848

An 'Oasis of Calm' in the midst of busy Kings Heath. It is situated next door to the King Edwards Grammar schools (for boys and girls). At the far end there are gardens referred to as the 'Television Gardens' (due to a TV series being filmed there a number of years ago. These gardens are open up to the public twice a month between April and October each year and are well worth a visit. There is a limited amount of parking available here. I've been to the main park frequently and it's nice and tranquil to walk around. It's a common site to see joggers and walkers of all ages in the park. For local residents, overlooking the park, they are afforded great views. If you are in the area do pay a visit.

Lovely large green fields to walk around and playground swing areas for children. Wooded area with pond and ducks. Victorian tea cafe. Beautifully served homemade cakes and light lunches. And City Council nursery where you can buy prize winning plants. Limited parking. A really nice place to visit.

Moseley Park and Pool

93B Alcester Rd, Birmingham B13 8DD, UK – 0121 442 4499

An excellent park to walk around. The fishing pool is a private pool to members only, stocked with a large amount of healthy fish. Sadly there's only one swing for children

Always the festival I look forward to every year. Fantastic park and great people.

Great website!. Click below to find gardens open during the year around Birmingham or West Midlands. There are photos and lots of detail about the garden.
Winterbourne House & Garden

58 Edgbaston Park Rd, Birmingham B15 2RT, UK – 0121 414 3003

The house is great as you can go into each room rather than just look from behind a rope. The gardens are especially beautiful. The cafe looks good but we didn’t go in.

This place is extremely beautiful. Who cares about the Bull Ring when you can go here? I would recommend spending about 4-5 hours here, and getting tea and cake (there are vegan options too). The ticket is very reasonable, and the garden is huge.
